Kidnapping suspect held

Free State police have arrested a 36-year-old suspect in connection with the kidnapping and attempted murder of a Bohlokong businessperson.

Police’s Captain Zweli Mohobeleli said yesterday the man was allegedly lured into a vehicle occupied by a group of men in the Bethlehem central business district in April.

Police have confiscated a cellphone. They have appealed to the public for more information. – ANA
