Parastatals ruining the country

The SA Post Office (Sapo) is urging people to send their gifts overseas early to ensure delivery in time for Christmas. I had a parcel sent to me which arrived in the Johannesburg’s clearing depot on July 8. It was only scanned into the Sapo system on October 10.

When I asked when I would get it, I was told that Sapo was still busy with June!

It has spent more than four months stuck in the Sapo system and it will be an unknown amount of time before I get it, if it is not stolen first.

Makes me wonder which Christmas they are talking about – 2018, or mail now to get delivery by 2019?

The ANC and the various totally useless parastatals should all be hanging their heads in shame for ruining South Africa. RJ
