Sonwabile Ndamase, the legendary Madiba shirt designer, showcased his latest collection at the recent Mandela Bay Fashion Week where he also featured a new collaboration with a job-creating NPO.
The visionary talents of Ndamase have been the creative force driving the Vukani Fashions brand.
He is famous for designing many of the colourful, African-inspired shirts that became Nelson Mandela’s trademark.
In honour of Madiba’s hundredth year, the designer put Mandela Centenary bracelets from The Relate Trust on the arms of all the models showcasing his Vukani line.
