Hoffman enters the record books

Nolan Hoffman won the Tsogo Sun AmaShova for a record seventh time yesterday, sprinting to victory in KwaZulu-Natal.

Last year, Hoffman had equalled the record of six wins held by Malcolm Lange, and the Team BCX rider went one better in the 106km contest.

He crossed the line in 2:22:09, holding off Rohan du Plooy (Alfa Bodyworks Giant) in a late dash.
