Sars really has fallen from grace

The South African Revenue Service (Sars), once a great and untouchable institution, has become riddled with corruption and incompetence over the past five years.

The Tom Monyane, pictured, affair is a disgrace. Why does he not gracefully resign, fade into obscurity and live off the millions of his ill-gotten gains?

Then we have the head of IT at Sars. Where does she come from? What is her education pedigree? Listening to her being interviewed, I was given the impression that she is clueless.

We need a clean-up, and fast, if we are to survive the economic onslaught on our country. Garry, Montana Park
