Lebusa’s hopes given a boost

Mosa Lebusa (above) has put his hand up for a place at the heart of Bafana Bafana’s defence, his coach Pitso Mosimane believes. Mosimane spoke highly of the former Ajax Cape Town captain, and on uncertain terms urged Stuart Baxter to have a look at the 26-year-old. “Mosa has put himself in a space to say ‘I can play left centreback for my country’ because we don’t have a natural left centreback in the country,” said Mosimane. “He is a good boy, I trust him, that is why I left Motjeka Madisha on the bench against Bloemfontein Celtic. I am saying he can compete with the left centreback at Bafana because he is also good aerially,” Mosimane said.
