Baby boom strangles country

A bumper sticker reads: “If you can’t feed them, don’t breed them.”

This country has a long-term socioecono­mic problem looming, with a reported one million babies being born annually.

Three million babies and toddlers are currently up for adoption, without meaningful adoption procedure in place.

Social services are unable to cope, as the burgeoning welfare requiremen­ts of this emerging welfare state are strangling the country economical­ly.

The sadness is that young schoolgirl­s are falling pregnant, without conscience ... expecting the state to provide.
