Will Nganono get away with his lie?
SECRETS: PHUNYUKA READY TO KILL THE MAN WHO IMPREGNATED HIS CHILD
Everyone on set has a secret they are keeping despite wanting to know the other person’s secrets.
Regardless of not wanting to keep it a secret, Zethu has remained silent about who the father of her deceased baby is, but now the inconsolable woman feels it is time to come clean about Nganono being the father.
In e.tv series Imbewu: The Seed, Ngcolosi wants to fire Nganono, while MaZulu finds out that Nganono gave Zethu some pills in order to kill the child; a revelation that leaves her distraught.
Feeling compelled to tell the truth, Nganono comes clean to Phunyuka about fathering his daughter’s child, leading Phunyuka and Ngcolosi to find out about the abortion pills. Nganono is finally shown the door at Maluju.
Zethu falls and in the process becomes unconscious; Nganono is blamed for this.
A heartbroken MaZulu tells Phakade they have lost a son. Meanwhile, Zakithi declares war with her father.
The restless murderer gets rid of the body but loses his wallet during his mission. He tries to cover his tracks by digging up Nganono’s phone, getting rid of the car and ultimately burning the body but despite all his effort, he is haunted by the dead man.
On the other hand, a suspicious Zakithi realises there is a family secret and accuses the family of keeping things from her. She meets up with Ka Madonsela, and the two promise to find the out what the secret is.
Phunyuka is fraught with guilt, especially as he is requested to help search for Nganono.
Still trying to deceive everyone that he is not the killer, Phunyuka sends an SMS to MaZulu from Nganono’s phone. However,
MaKhumalo finds out a portion of the truth, confirming to MaZulu and Phakade that Nganono is dead. This leads a hysterical MaZulu to head to the police about Nganono’s disappearance.
KaMadonsela begins connecting the dots, getting closer to the secret, and then distancing herself from Phakade.
Phunyuka is burdened by guilt and resorts to begging Phakade for forgiveness, to make amends.
Zakithi, in the meantime, learns the truth and works towards owning Maluju company. She then consults with Maharaj to get shares. She also enlists MaZulu’s help and in the process gets fraudulent papers from Zithulele and despite nearly getting caught, Zakithi and Zithulele get some of the shares.
The question that remains is whether or not the secrets will be revealed, and if indeed a murder will remain unresolved.
