Look forward to a Currie Cup thriller

It’s Currie Cup final day ... and it should be a thriller, with Western Province hosting the Sharks in Cape Town this afternoon. Province have not lost a match this season, although they had to negotiate a tricky 20 minutes of extra-time in the semifinals against the Bulls last weekend after the match ended 32-32 after 80 min. The Sharks’ only loss this season came at the hands of Province. From the eight previous finals between the coastal giants, Province have won five (1984, 2000, 2001, 2012 and 2017), while the Sharks have been victorious three times (1995, 2010 and 2013).
