Hamilton had humble beginnings

Regarding your leader page comment in The Citizen (October 30) on Lewis Hamilton winning a fifth title: unless I am mistaken, Hamilton’s dad was not wealthy.

He worked two or three jobs to finance Lewis’ racing in his early karting days! I think his first kart was very second-hand!
