Advancedsp.co.za The perfect game to keep it social

-

If you work in a corporate environment or have friends that are sporty, you will often hear Mondays’ chatter of how they played on the golf course the past weekend. If you are one of those people who have been too scared to try golf then this article is for you.

First and foremost, when you are ready to play on a course, all you need to know is two things. Play with friends that are not competitive and hostile and secondly choose your course carefully since some are friendlier than others.

Before you even begin to think about playing on a course, find a mate that can play and head off to a local driving range and go hit a few balls while having some beers. I say beers because you want to keep it social and if you feel a little embarrassed about swinging and missing, the alcohol will help to ease those nerves. If you want something more structured then hiring a pro coach is definitely the way to go. Whatever you chose, just make sure you give it a try because something strange will start to happen with each ever-improving swing; that’s right, you will start to love the game.
