Son-shooter’s case put off
The case of the Johannesburg father, Emmanuel Tshabalala, who shot his son after allegedly mistaking him for a hijacker, was postponed in the Lenasia Magistrate’s Court yesterday for final representations.
Defence lawyer Chewe Machaka said the state requested the postponement. Tshabalala faces a murder charge for shooting his 16-year-old son on the premises of a night school in June. The state said negotiations were under way. – ANA
