Monaco’s top cops on bribe rap
Monaco – Three senior Monaco police officers have been charged in connection with a corruption inquiry involving the billionaire Russian owner of the Mediterranean principality’s football club, prosecutors said yesterday.
Charges were laid on Thursday against Dmitry Rybolovlev, his lawyer and former justice chief Philippe Narmino. The head of the criminal investigation division, Christophe Haget, his deputy Patrick Fusari and retired police chief Regis Asso were also charged with influence peddling. –
