Monaco’s top cops on bribe rap

Monaco – Three senior Monaco police officers have been charged in connection with a corruption inquiry involving the billionair­e Russian owner of the Mediterran­ean principali­ty’s football club, prosecutor­s said yesterday.

Charges were laid on Thursday against Dmitry Rybolovlev, his lawyer and former justice chief Philippe Narmino. The head of the criminal investigat­ion division, Christophe Haget, his deputy Patrick Fusari and retired police chief Regis Asso were also charged with influence peddling. –
