US vows to act on journo killers

– US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo yesterday told Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that the US will hold accountable all involved in killing of dissident Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Spokesperson Heather Nauert said in a statement that the two also discussed the conflict in Yemen, and that Pompeo “reiterated the United States’ calls for a cessation of hostilities and for all parties to negotiate a peaceful solution”. – Reuters
