LEST WE FORGET

-

Remembrance Day, or Poppy Day as it is sometimes known, is observed every year on November 11. In 1918, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, the guns fell silent to end World War I (1914-1918). A piper commemorates the day in Johannesburg yesterday.
