Sweden’s vote on PM deadlocked
– Sweden’s parliament rejected centre-right Moderates party leader Ulf Kristersson as prime minister in a vote yesterday, leaving no end in sight to political deadlock since a September election.
His bid for premiership had looked doomed to fail after two other parties said they would oppose a government that relied on support from the shunned anti-immigration Democrats who hold the balance of power in parliament. – Reuters
