Mngxitama guilty of incitement

-

Speaking recently at the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Andile Mngxitama told his audience that his “unit was organising themselves to expropriate land without compensation” and that “we do take houses in white suburbs”. Really? Where? He also stated that there was going to be a “war for land”, and that they were already identifying farms and houses.

Is this not incitement – a criminal offence? On whose authority is he going to do all this, or is he so arrogant and conceited that he feels he can do whatever he pleases without repercussions.

He and his ragtag followers have yet to do something positive and progressive for the country.

His approach, mainly towards whites, is crude, inflammatory and polarising. He labels everybody racist except himself – a first-class bigot.

There is no doubt his showing off is because of his low self-esteem, insecurity and social rejection, his yearning to impress others and to satisfy his overinflated ego.

He has failed miserably on all counts. He is neither powerful nor superior in any way. Confident people don’t show off to cover their weaknesses and defects.

I suggest readers go on to the internet and read the letter Mngxitama sent to Sir Richard Branson, and Branson’s scathing reply. A real humdinger.

The only thing more dangerous than ignorance is arrogance. John
