-

Celebrate his life at the Forever Young Ball with a gala dinner.

The Enhle Cares Foundation, House of Mandela, Africa Rising Foundation and their supporting partners, Global Citizen and The Nozala Trust, announce the official countdown to the inaugural Forever Young Ball and Gala Dinner, which will culminate into a special auction.

Set for November 30 in Johannesburg, the ball is a festive tribute to the legacy of former president Nelson Mandela and his centennial.

It is also a fundraiser for beneficiary organisations dedicated to empowering the youth and championing social justice.

Forever Young aims to invest in the youth by focusing on community development, including arts and culture, education and social justice.

Josh Wood Productions, organisers of the UNAids gala, will treat guests to a memorable, “one-of-a kind” affair with the help of Moov decor.

Guests and charitable businesses will be treated with fine dining and exclusive entertainment.

The Forever Young Ball aims to become an annual event, with proceeds shared by the House of Mandela, Enhle Cares Foundation and Africa Rising.

The House of Mandela is a non-profit organisation committed to continuing the legacy of improving the livelihoods of poverty-stricken communities through various mechanisms such as education, training, addressing health issues and promoting alternative energy sectors.

A special auction will round off the evening.

After much consideration by the Mandela family, the very personal decision was made to auction off a “one-of-a-kind painting”, painted by Madiba. This has never been done before.

More than anything, it reflects the levels of devotion which the Mandela family feel towards continuing the personal and shared legacy which has been inherited from the life of Mandela.

High Street Auctions will be managing the evenings Assets.
