Kudos to those who rummage in rubbish

I have heard many people complain about the men that rummage through our dustbins and sometimes litter the pavements.

Think again, they are doing our country a service, they are recycling, something not many of us do, and in so doing they eke out a living.

I leave for work at 4.30am and I see these guys coming out of nowhere with their trollies and bags, winter and summer. They do not stand on street corners begging or loaf, looking for something to steal. They have chosen to work for their money and it is not an easy life. I take my hat off to them.
