Why no reduction in price of chicken?

Astral reports their poultry division recorded a 127% increase in profit for the year to September, stating lower chicken feed costs.

These companies were mighty quick in the face of bird flu and high feed costs to raise prices for the consumer.

When are these companies going to stop ripping off the poor of this country?

As sure as eggs are eggs, there won’t be any reduction in their chicken price to help the poor of South Africa. Pure greed!
