After back-to-back defeats to Hoffenheim and Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen hope to get things right when they host Stuttgart tonight at the BayArena.

Leverkusen’s Bundesliga campaign sees them in 13th place with 11 points from 11 games. The last time they won a league match was a 6-2 victory over Werder Bremen in October.

The club beat Borussia Moenchengladbach in the second round of the DFB Cup, smashing them 5-0 and overcoming FC Zurich 1-0 in the Europa League. However, their league form is worrying.

Stuttgart, who are at the bottom of the Bundesliga with eight points from the same number of games should be high in confidence having clinched a 2-0 win over Nuremberg in their last league game.

The win ended the team’s four-game losing streak and they could be finding their form.
