14 injured in building collapse
One floor of a Durban building collapsed on Thursday, injuring 14 workers, Rescue Care said yesterday.
Spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said that when the mezzanine floor of the building collapsed, two employees were trapped under rubble.
The fire department used the Jaws of Life to free the injured and paramedics stabilised them, Jamieson added: “Fourteen employees had injuries and were taken to hospital.” – ANA
