Uganda jihadists hit UN chopper

The UN confirmed that one of its helicopters came under attack from Ugandan jihadist group, the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), during an attack in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Thursday.

French General Bernard Commins, deputy head of the UN peacekeeping force, said they responded to the attack and the aircraft landed, but it had been hit. Last week, eight African peacekeepers were killed in a clash with the ADF. – ANA
