Building noise in China kills fish

– China has halted construction of a bridge in Hubei province after it was said to have caused the death of 6 000 critically endangered Chinese sturgeon, the China Daily said.

An investigation found the project in Jingzhou city had encroached on a nature reserve causing the fish to die due to “shocks, noise and changes of water sources”. – Reuters
