One turkey does his bit by saving two others

Ihad a good chuckle when I saw American President Donald Trump in an annual Thanksgiving tradition, when he used the power of his office to keep a pair of turkeys off the holiday table.

So, in front of a crowd in the White House rose garden and as pompous as ever, he carried out an act of mercy by extending his hand and moving it over the heads of the birds, blessing and pardoning them.

So, the two turkeys named Peas and Carrots were spared and will spend the rest of their days at a Virginia farm.

But I kept on thinking – the one turkey who saved the other two is not going to the farm with them, but instead is off to Florida for the holiday.
