It’s time the media ignored Julius and the EFF

Without propaganda being exposed, the party will suffer, writes Edward.

Julius Malema headlines sell newspapers. If all newspapers and news channels banned giving the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) cover- age (as Malema wants to ban the Sunday Times), who would be the winner?

The EFF would have no means to broadcast their racist rants and I for one would not have to read or hear the rubbish Malema says. A win-win for all; he won’t have journalists criticising him or the EFF and we won’t see or hear the ranting anymore.

Journalists, stand up and be counted. Do not attend any more EFF gatherings and don’t report on them.

Without propaganda being exposed on air and through the newspapers, the EFF will struggle. Social media is not sufficient to get their message out.
