Officials just don’t give a damn about you

Government is only there to enrich themselves, writes Disgruntled Resident

What a bunch of clowns. I got a message from the “wonderfully run ANC council” of Germiston that there will be maintenance done to a water reservoir that supplies the Cas- tleview area on December 1 and that we will be without water between 8am and 8pm or thereabouts.

Yes, you’ve got it. Nothing was done – but to our surprise, without further notice, no water yesterday, December 2.

If they can’t even get their days right, no wonder this “once wonderful country “is going down the drain.

To the people of South Africa, please take the blinkers off and realise that government is only there to enrich themselves and don’t give a damn about you.

Please use your head and not your heart when casting your vote at the next elections. Our streets and sidewalks are also a disgrace, and there is actually a tree growing in the street at the corner of Fairthorn and Hyperion roads.
