Stingy Safa yet to pay

A source has told Phakaaathi that the South African Football Association have not paid Bafana Bafana players their salaries for the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde Islands, a match they lost 2-1 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium last year. “The players have not been paid their match fees yet and Safa have not stuck to their word because they promised to pay them ages ago. This match was played last year in September but there has still been no payment from Safa,” said the source.
