Pitso punts defenders to Stuart

Pitso Mosimane has insisted his new-found central defensive paring of Mosa Lebusa (above) and Rivaldo Coetzee can challenge Stuart Baxter’s preferred pairing of Buhle Mkhwanazi and captain Thulani Hlatshwayo at Bafana Bafana. “It is so good to see Rivaldo play, it is unbelievable that he has not been playing football, this is Bafana material,”said Mosimane. “This is what Bafana need at centreback. He has put himself in the pool and I think he can compete with Buhle and Hlatshawayo. Mosa and Riva are giving options to Stuart, they are strong on set-pieces and they pass well from the back, they don’t panic,” he added.
