Keep families with kids together on planes

Screaming kids on a plane make passengers and parents suffer, writes Karen

Why can’t airlines put all passengers with young children in one section of the plane? Having recently come back from a trip to the United Kingdom and having screaming infants on every flight, I know how irritating and frustrating it is to have to listen to howling kids.

But it isn’t just the other passengers that suffer, the parents themselves go through so much stress because they know they are disturbing everyone around them.

I saw one mother in tears because her baby cried for several hours and nothing she did seemed to help.

If she had been in a section with other parents, I’m sure her stress levels wouldn’t have been so high and maybe that would have helped the baby feel safer.
