HONEST COSMETICS

Actress Jessica Alba heeded the call to go green and developed her own range of beauty products called the Honestly range, derived from her Honest Company, which caters for baby products too.

Alba, pictured, told Huffington Post that the idea for the products came about after reading a book about toxic chemicals and what people are putting into their bodies.

She gathered a team of professionals, came up with a plan and started working on the organic brand Honest.

She named her firm the Honest Company because she believes they are truthful about what they put into and distribute in their products.

Products range from skin cleanser, eye-shadow palettes and mascara to a hair-care range, as well as a full baby range.
