Sassa card has all running in circles

Sassa pensioners trying to renew their cards by the cut-off date of December 15 have spent many hours telephoning Sassa, where they are told “all our agents are busy”, before being cut off.

The Post Office told me they “had no cards” and the Black Sash, which offered to help pensioners, is apparently no longer doing so.

What on earth are people without transport and unable to reach a Sassa office supposed to do? Richard Benson
