China confident of trade deal with US

Beijing – China yesterday expressed confidence in striking a trade deal with the US within their 90-day truce period.

In Argentina last week, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed to a truce that delayed the January 1 US hike of tariffs to 25% from 10% on $200 billion of Chinese goods while they negotiate a trade deal. – Reuters
