Marcus has booked a fabulous ride

The jockey-trainer combination of Anton “Superman” Marcus and Johan Janse van Vuuren have teamed up 21 times for 13 victories this season, and have built an impressively high 61.9% win strike-rate.

This figure is more than likely to be increased when the Highveld-based conditioner saddles Being Fabulous in Race 5, a FM Pinnacle Stakes over 1800m on the Greyville Turf track on Sunday afternoon.

This daughter of High Chaparral is in sparkling form having won two of her last four performances.

She can be forgiven for her most recent effort when beaten 1.65 lengths into third by Sylvan On Fire in the Grade 3 Yellowwood Handicap over 1800m considering she was brushed at the 150m marker.

Raes' Dyna Jet looks to be her strongest challenger.
