We could learn a lot from Rupert

Ihave just been listening to the conversation with Johann Rupert, pictured, on eNCA and again I am so disappointed. Instead of learning from him, he was attacked.

There were many wise things he said which were totally ignored by those who were there. Racism again was unnecessarily brought up.

When are we as South Africans going to learn?

Surely a successful businessman can teach us something.

A message to the two farmers, you are in the wrong job if you want to get rich quickly!

It will take at least 20 to 30 years to do so and I should know, I’m a farmers wife.

That was the strength he was talking about, to be able to last that long, handle the drought, the hail, the poor crops and waiting a year before receiving the money for the maize you planted, wondering if you have enough funds to plant next year’s crop. DKB
