Everton coach Marco Silva will face Watford for the first time since he was fired at Goodison Park and will surely have vengeance in mind which makes for an exciting game.

Although his dismissal from Watford is still a matter for the courts, he will definitely be looking to prove his prowess.

The Portuguese has pinned his hopes on striker Richarlison who followed him from Watford. “He’s a player who needs to score, a striker I think he needs to score often to keep his confidence high.

“Of course he has already scored seven, but he didn’t play in two games because of the red card.

So, I think that’s seven goals in 13 games, it’s a good number.

“He can do better, I have no doubts about that, because he has the quality to do better,” Silva was quoted saying at the weekend.

My gut tells me that Watford will give a good fight and upset Everton but my mind tells me to go with Silva because the footballing gods might be favourable to him because of how he was treated. I will put my money on an Everton win. Pool name S6 V3 P2 M1: Jong PSV II v Cambuur. Home comforts for Jong Tip: Jong win = 1 M2: Bochum v St Pauli. No winner here.
