Some of South Africa’s best young footballers will descend on Camps Bay Fives Football Court tomorrow for the launch of the Cape Town leg of the adidas 2019 Tango League, a globally-led campaign that combines dazzling football skills with social presence.

Tango League, which launched in 2017, is a global campaign that gathers the best young footballing talent in a rapid-fire, intense fivea-side cage tournament. Open to footballers between 16 and 25, the Tango League gives athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent, increase their social media following, and for a select few, the chance to be an adidas-sponsored athlete.

The Tango League will also celebrate the launch of adidas’ new Exhibit pack, featuring products across adidas Football’s four existing franchises; Copa, Predator, X and Nemeziz.

“The boots are not for everyone, they are for creators only,” says Bob Maphosa, Sports Marketing Manager at adidas Africa.

“They are for the footballer who puts his imagination into action, who has the courage to exhibit their creativity.

“If you can’t create in these boots, then they are not for you.

“Creativity is a responsibility – its not for fakers, and neither are these boots.”

The Exhibit pack is available now at adidas.co.za and selected retailers.
