Good Omens – something to look forward to

Amazon Prime Video announced the highly anticipated prime original series Good Omens will première on May 31.

Showrunner and executive producer Neil Gaiman, executive producer/director Douglas Mackinnon and series stars Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex) and David Tennant (Doctor Who) will chat about bringing the Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman book to the screen almost 30 years after it was first published.

The series takes place as the end of the world approaches, with a fussy angel (Sheen) and a loose-living demon (Tennant), who’ve become overly fond of life on earth, form an unlikely alliance to stop Armageddon.

But they have lost the Antichrist, an 11-year-old boy who is unaware he’s meant to bring about the end of days, forcing them to embark on an adventure to find him and save the world before it’s too late.
