SA’s Tshabalala is being frozen out in Turkey

Siphiwe Tshabalala (right) continued to sit on the bench this weekend as Erzurumspor came away with a rare victory in the Turkish Super Lig, winning 4-2 at home to Sivasspor. Tshabalala has made just four starts for Erzurumspor since joining the club at the end of August last year, with eight appearances coming off the bench, but has not played at all for his new club in 2019. It remains to be seen exactly how long he survives in the Turkish top flight with those kinds of statistics.
