There is another full set of English Premier League fixtures this weekend, with Gameweek 30 in the Fantasy Premier League presenting a chance for players in Phakaaathi’s Private Fantasy League to rack up more points in the bid to win our March competition, with the prize for the victor a Canon Powershot SX730 HS camera worth R4 999.

With three Gameweeks left in this month, some may wish to plan ahead in their squad selection. For example, Gameweek 31 has just five fixtures, with half of the Premier League not playing at all, while Gameweek 32 is a double gameweek for Manchester United and Wolves.

This may be a good time to get Manchester United players in your squad anyway, with them flying high in the English Premier League’s top four and in the quarterfinals of the Uefa Champions League. Wolves are also fine form, though United and Wolves both face difficult away fixtures this weekend, with the Red Devils at Arsenal on Sunday, while Chelsea host Wolves on the same day.

One strategy could be to beef up your squad with United and Wolves players this week, then play your Free Hit chip in Gameweek 31, and then add more United and Wolves players in Gameweek 32, in order to get the maximum benefit from those two clubs.

Manchester City players, though expensive, look a good pick this week, with Pep Guardiola’s side at home to Watford, while Liverpool could well also bounce back from their derby draw with Everton, as they welcome Burnley to Anfield.

Jamie Vardy (below) has been in good form for Leicester, with two goals in as many games, and pending an injury, might just be a good pick to help the Foxes to their first win under Brendan Rodgers, as they host Fulham.
