Moses Mkhonto: Giving statements that expose acts of corruption by our former president Jacob Zuma is the right thing to do. If everyone who was found guilty for breaking the law was arrested, including Zuma, then everything would fit into place.

Thabo Tsolo: The allegations made by Zuma are mostly directed at government personnel. The [other] witnesses were also focusing on government personnel. I wish the inquiry could call on those in the corporate space to also answer. Because it was not only government that was involved in state capture but big corporates, too.

Mandla Manyoni: The allegations that Zuma made, I am hoping will be investigated so that those guilty of corruption can be held accountable. I hope this commission will not just be all talk and nothing else. Corruption led to the capture of government entities, the commission must do a follow-up on the victims of the corrupt companies ... If Zuma is guilty he must be arrested.

Welani Ngubani : The former president is correct in stating that this commission was set to bury him because it was established after former public protector Thuli Madonsela’s report on Zuma. I think this commission is wrong for wanting to tarnish the reputation of the ANC. However, I am happy that nothing concrete has been said to destroy the reputation of the party.

Olothando Sonjalo: The statements made by our former president are the pure facts we have been waiting for. It is indeed true that all the allegations made by other witnesses against him is part of a plot put together by the spies who have been witnesses before the commission.
