Business rescue farm sales
FIXED AND MOVEABLE ASSETS: TWO KZN FARMS IN OFFING THROUGH PARK VILLAGE AUCTIONS
Park Village Auctions (PVA) is inviting offers on moveable and immovable assets of a KwaZulu-Natal- based “soya crude oil, oilcake meal and full-fat soya manufacturer”, currently in business rescue.
PVA’s Andrew Dix-Peek explains the sale falls under the auspices of the auction house’s business rescue division, which specialises in selling firms which are experiencing difficulties.
“Most businesses sold under this banner are simply in need of a capital injection or restructuring to continue operations, and therefore represent a great opportunity for investors.”
Available assets comprise a hexane soy oil extrusion plant, farmland and movables to be sold with the fi xed properties.
The first property, farm No 112, Swartberg, features irrigated dairy land and improvements comprise grain-storage silos with specialised, purpose-built infrastructure; a housing unit; a stockyard for livestock auctions and an equipped borehole.
The second property is portion 12 of Farm Winterton Irrigation Board Lands, farm No 12117, Winterton.
This commercial farm consists of 71% irrigation cropping land, a small section of dry land and improvements comprising a soya solvent extraction plant with supporting infrastructure.
Further detailed information is available on www.parkvillageauctions. under web reference 382.
