F1 requires engine rule change

GT on Saturday regarding MotoGP and Dougie in Springs regarding Schumi and Hamilton refers, I agree 100% with both of them. Bikes are simply superb. Sunday’s MotoGP was simply superb. So many manufacturers in with a chance and lots of breathtaking overtaking at high speeds taking place.

Just a pity Valentino Rossi must go to make way for talented youngsters. Next year, Marc Marquez, pictured, will be back and more sparks will fly.

Hamilton and Schumi one cannot compare. Schumi had to work hard in more equal cars with some outstanding race victories. Currently just about anyone can dominate in a Mercedes.

It won’t happen, but just imagine the engine rules change to allow in-season upgrades, and also a return to V12s, 10s and 8s?
