Matsatsantsa coach is happy with a full house

- Ntokozo Gumede

Maritzburg United have lost every single game they have competed in since the start of the new season.

SuperSport United will be hoping that trend continues when they face the Team of Choice tonight at the Harry Gwala Stadium in a DStv Premiership clash.

It will be Maritzburg’s first game under interim coach Delron Buckley, who takes over after Eric Tinkler was sacked earlier this week.

Matsatsantsa A Pitori head coach Kaitano Tembo is not going to dwell much on their opponents, insisting he has to sharpen his own saw after squandering a lead to lose against Orlando Pirates in their last league match.

“It was disappointing to lose a game the way we did but we have put that behind us and the week has been good, we have to take it one game at a time. We have all the players available in terms of team selection and we are looking forward to that,” said Tembo.

“We are not really going to dwell too much on what is happening there, they have made changes and they will be motivated, so it won’t be an easy game. We have to go there and play our game. We are not complaining,.. the players are just happy to be playing again,” Tembo added.

For the first time this season, Tembo will have a full complement of players to select from and he hopes to pick a good enough side to battle Maritzburg at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

“It is going to be a tough game, it is always difficult going to Maritzburg and we have to go there with the right attitude and the right mentality.

“I have seen that at training, the attitude has been very good and we are looking forward to the game, especially having everyone available,

“I am quite happy about that. We had just a slight scare in terms of Bradley Grobler but now he is back and he is fully fit,” added the SuperSport United mantor.
