SA needs new conductor, new orchestra

The sounds emanating from the ANC are not music to the ears of many, writes Peter Bachtis.

Concertina politics are developing rapidly, as we make our way towards the elections. The DA is contracting, Action SA is expanding, the FF Plus is expanding like musical instruments, the smaller parties are beginning to make some melodious sounds and expanding their bases.

The electorate, it seems, is sick to death of the monotonous and never-ending toxic sounds of the ANC.

The DA have tripped, allowing Mashaba’s fledgling party Action SA to capture the electorate’s imagination and push them towards possibly becoming the “new” and powerful opposition.

The demise of the DA is sad. The question is, can they reinvent themselves in such a way that they become a force to be reckoned with?

Those who believe in the ANC as though it is some kind of deity need to open their eyes and question the party.

It is time for a new conductor, and a whole new orchestra.
