Move over four leaf clover – Time Square is the new lucky symbol for four Pretoria residents who each won over R1 million at the casino in the past four weeks.

The first jackpot of R1 292 054 was won on Duo Fu Duo Cai. The second winner won a progressive jackpot of R1 914 112 on the poker table followed soon after by a jackpot of R1 262 750, won playing an Inca Fortune game. The final jackpot was R1 246 200 won playing Choy Sun Doa this weekend.

“We were pleased to pay the top progressive jackpot on the Poker table in the Prive to one of our regular customers,” said tables manager Christopher Sin Hidge. “He was extremely happy as he had been playing Baccarat and decided to take a break and try his luck on the poker, which paid off in a big way.

“There was lots of cheering from his friends who had still been playing Baccarat. Before our mystery player was even paid out he handed the dealer a tip of over R10 000. The next big tables jackpot will be from the poker progressive on the main floor.”

Speaking about the jackpots, Time Square general manager Ruben Gooranah said: “We’re all about creating great experiences for the customer, so we couldn’t be more pleased.”

Gooranah anticipates more jackpots to be paid out soon as both the Sunstriker and Duma machines are already over R600 000 and a Kronos and Zeus progressive game is already over R1.4 million.
