Walker set to reel off winners at Kranji

With Michael Clements sitting on top of the trainer’s premiership by just two wins over his only realistic rival in Mark Walker, the battle for 2021 honours will be one to follow.

And while Clements has a quality over quantity approach to his title bid, Walker is the polar opposite with multiple runners in most races on any given day.

So obviously with a winning strike rate of 18.92%, you can pick a Clements horse with some confidence, but it may be a debutante in STARHARMONY in Race 4 on Sunday, who is his best chance.

The NZ-bred three-year-old gets reliable stable jockey in Louis Beuzelin and in what looks an open maiden, STARHARMONY can win on the back of a good trial with support likely.

So, it may be the Walker juggernaut that is the stable to follow.

REIGNITE can break his maiden status in Race 2 with Vlad Duric a factor and the WalkerDuric combination can also be followed in Race 5 (MAXIMILIAN), Race 9 (ADMIRAL WINSTON) and maybe the pair’s best on the card - MYSTERY POWER - in the lucky last.

Fittingly, the biggest danger to MYSTERY POWER making it two-from-two in Singapore is the Mike Clement-trained DAY APPROACH and whoever wins the last race may sit on top of the trainer’s table by day’s end.

Elsewhere on the card, SUNS OP proved a few doubters wrong by winning over 1100m last start and he can win again over the same trip in Race 10 with Oscar Chavez retaining the plumb ride. BEST BET
