Bucs get feelers out

-

Orlando Pirates have already started looking at possible candidates should they fire current coach Josef Zinnbauer after yet another not-so successful season. In his second season, a lot was expected from Zinnbauer, especially in the league, but Pirates are technically out of the race for the DStv Premiership. They did win their first trophy in seven years though, the 2020 MTN8. This lack of success in the league has not sat well with the club’s management, according to Phakaaathi sources. One of the coaches who has been approached is Adel Amrouche of Algeria, currently with the Botswana national team. A source close to Amrouche claims he has been asked about his availability. “He is excited. He always wanted to coach in South Africa. He follows the local game and if an offer is made, I don't think he’d refuse,” said the source.
