Explanation needed from SA Post Office

The SA Post Office wants to stop courier companies from delivering small parcels.

Perhaps before they do that they can explain why they took six months to deliver a small parcel from the UK; while DHL delivered a similar sized parcel from the UK in six days, including a two-day delay in customs?
