Covid regulations say indoor gatherings are limited to 50 people. Does this apply to shops?

George

On the one hand we have the Zondo commission locking nobody away. On the other hand we’ve had R24 billion in irregular spending from the municipalities (stolen). Whose fooling who here? Aloota continua. John, Midrand

There’s a new type of copper cable theft on Modderfontien Road! The thieves cut the traffic lights down! It’s good for the taxis, they go through the red light anyway!

Friedrich Nietzsche quote in The Citizen this week: “That which dies not kill, makes us stronger.” Yes sir, well said, and I have always said without war there will never be peace.

Old people can be so irresponsible. Vaccines were brought to their doorsteps, yet many did not get the jab. Now they are filling hospitals! I trust teachers will have more sense and grab this lifeline that’s thrown at them! Ruth

Ben Trovato, I don’t know why you bothered to vaccinate. With the amount of alcohol in your body, you’re like a walking hand sanitiser. No virus will come near you.

Dee

By now, there must be enough information on the Covid database regarding how many people have received their first jab. Nowhere have I seen any information about how many people have died from Covid after receiving their first jab. AL

Old man in despair, you should be congratulated for giving so many people work. It’s time for a new government who are not so obsessed with race and remembers that all of us South Africans are just trying to eke out a decent living.

HT

Old man in despair, unfortunately the words to express the frustration experienced are not printable in the media. It’s no consolation, but you are not the only victim of the corrupt ANC government’s idiotic policies. Good luck, uncle.

We are back facing the full force of the Covid-19 pandemic but we still have Nathi Mthethwa wanting to change names. Get real, minister, how did you manage to get your job.

Chris

The business-related degrees that Minister Gwede Mantashe has achieved do not seem to have increased his business savvy much, if at all.
